[Note: I think I have finally got my sendmail to behave properly, so my
address should appear as
'luomat+procmail(_at_)luomat(_dot_)peak(_dot_)org'... if
not, again my apologies]
I was losing all my headers.... it was weird... when the message hit my
ISP it was fine, when it left it had no headers.... I was clueless as to
why this suddenly started to happen and I could not figure out what was
wrong...
Then I noticed this (which I had just added as a mild-spam-check)
:0fhw
* ^Message-ID:.*@
|$FORMAIL -X"SpamChecker: InvalidMessageID
# note: yes FORMAIL is defined
of course, in my haste I FORGOT the closing " after "InvalidMessageID"
This sent procmail into a tizzy....
I was just about to file a report when I figured it out by accident.
The reason I couldn't reproduce it was that when _I_ sent myself a
message, and my name was in the bypass list for the spam.rc file, it never
hit it :-)
Ugh.... that's what I get for editing .procmailrc from the commandline
rather than my nice text editor (which has better cut&paste and I wouldn't
have missed the " mark...)
Oh well, just in case anyone else suddenly has this happen, check for
closing " marks... they get me a lot...
