Other lists don't get spam to the extent that the procmail list
does; ergo, something is wrong with our list.  How about discussing
how to fix this, rather than work around it?

The other lists probably require subscriptions

The other lists probably do not discuss issues which involve filtering spam,  
which therefore makes it a better target for spam.

The other lists are probably not as well-known.

The fix is
        1) leave
        2) accept it
        3) use a work-around
        
        And you can add 'ask Stephen to make the list either subscriber-only  
or use some basic spam-filtering' to any of those.  Personally I think a  
very simple CyberPromo/Iemmc filter would take care of 90% of it all.
