Ideas for keeping statistics of incoming mail?

        Hi,

        I have followgin installation:

        ~/Mail/spool/...procmail-delivered-files

        Then at regular intervals GNUS reads these spool files and
        merges them into it's backends in ~/Mail

        I have noticed that my mail traffic is quite huge nowadays
        when I have subsribed to few mailing lists and I'd like to have
        some simple per day/per mailing list/ summary. What would be
        the simplest way to keep the daily log?

            :0
            * list1
            ...count-it-somehow-daily

            :0
            * list2
            ..ditto

            :0
            ..and the rest of the messages drop here, count them
