If a message has recipients listed in the Original-Cc or Original-To
headers, they are not added to the recipient list when doing a group-reply
to that message using my favourite MUA (Mutt).
The Original-To/Cc headers are being ignored which I think is unfortunate
because, due to the vagaries of any/every MTA on the way, many messages I
get contain only Original-To and/or Original-Cc and no simple To/Cc
headers!
Question:
o How can I use procmail/formail to combine the information in these
headers into their *CORRESPONDING* header MINUS the Original- ?
o Note that I can have multiple Original-Cc: headers and I want all the
recipients combined into one Cc: header.
o I am not sure if multiple Original-To: headers are even allowed per RFCs
but I am pretty sure I get emails with multiple Original-To: headers.
o Is this advisable? Does this clobber any useful information or make the
message invalid in any way?
