What I really want is to have incoming messages queued by sendmail, in
case the filesystem holding my home directory (into which I procmail
delivers) is temporarily 'out of disk space'. (We have an SGI with IRIX
5.3 and sendmail 8.6. My home directory is NOT NFS mounted.)
I learned from Jari Aalto's procmail tips that an exitcode of 75 causes
the message to be queued by sendmail. So, it looks like I can check
diskspace ('df'), and exit with exitcode 75, if 'out of space'. I also
need a 'delivering recipe' to terminate the procmailrc file. For now, I am
just sending the message to /dev/null after setting exitcode=75. Is there
a better way to do this?
It would help even more if somebody has a description of how to deal
with the whole 'out of disk space' problem. Sorry If this topic is a
'FAQ'. If so, I would like to hear how I SHOULD have found it. I looked...
