Excerpts from mail: (20-Jan-98) out of memory by Dale Welch
I am running procmail ver 3.11pre7
i keep getting
out memory as i tried to allocate 8xxxxxx bytes.
I have over 100 meg available swap space so i have a difficult time
understanding this.
Is there a newer version of the program?
Is this a known error?
It's not a bug per se in procmail. It's a known problem with certain
operating systems and their implementation of the libc system function
realloc(). There is a patch available that should fix the problem for you.
