ProcLog version 3.4 Released

1998-03-22 15:12:33
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Well I've finally found some time to fix a few of the really annoying
issues that have plaged ProcLog 3.x:

3.4
- - Indicator line now prints as the log file is scanned, rather than all at
        once at the end.
- - Scanning log file takes way too long (v3.4 will *drastically* reduce
running time of plog over previous versions when dealing with large
        Procmail log files)

3.3
- - Folder names with numerals in them would screw up the folder size
        reported
- - More logical report format

As always, the most recent version of ProcLog is available via my web
site:

http://www.pobox.com/~aturner/proclog/

What is ProcLog? ProcLog is a set of Unix shell and Perl 5 scripts that
provide an easy to use and fast reporting tool for detailing where mail
goes after Procmail sorts it. ProcLog reports on current email in your
Procmail Log file, any new email that has come in since ProcLog was last
run, and the size of your Procmail log file. What makes ProcLog unique is
it's ability to help you keep track of email you've read. Unlike most
reporting tools that require you to delete the entire Procmail log file
(and the associated report), ProcLog allows you to delete specific
folders.

[Note: Because I consider people's privacy important, some people were
BCC'd this email.]
