When someone sends a messsage to a mailing list, in certain cases, the
transmission is interrupted and a process is created by procmail for some
member of the list and only when this process is killed does the
transmission continue for the rest of the list. In /var/spool/mqueue, the
following message appears:
mailer local died with signal ll.
inside messages xf... appears:
procmail: Enforcing stricter permissions on /var/spool/mail/user...
procmail: Forcing lock on "/var/spool/mail/user.lock"
The /var/spool/mail is mounted via NFS with permissions rwxrwxrwt The
procmail permissions rwsr-xr-x
The lockfile permissions rwxr-xr-x
Can anybody tell me what is happening and how to solve it?
Thanks...
