procmail and $MAIL

Hi,

I just installed procmail v3.11pre7 1997/04/28, which is a Good Thing.
The Bad Thing is that autoconf (the script in src) didn't check my
$MAIL environment variable (cause my mail spool directory is not a
default directory) so procmail didn't work.

Is this fixed in later versions?
