This is just a quick note to announce the 1.4 release of rblcheck, a tool
for checking IP addresses against RBL-style DNS systems. It comes, by
default, configured to check against both the original RBL developed by
Paul Vixie and currently managed by the MAPS project, and against the
Dorkslayers open-relay list. The primary use of this for most people is
through personal procmail filters, although it can also be used on a
site-wide basis via several methods.
This release is a bugfix release; if you're using 1.3, I would strongly
recommend upgrading to 1.4. No new user-visible features have been
introduced in this version. If you're still using 1.2 or earlier, you
should evaluate the new features of 1.4 before putting it into production;
it is not interface-compatible with 1.2.
