First, I need to thank everyone that responded to my panicked requests
for help/clues.
Thank You.
It turns out that my ISP did/does have procmail installed on the
system, a fact that I wasn't really aware of until yesterday
afternoon. The changeover to the new mailhost resulted in my
".forward" file summoning some evil spirits from the IMAP zone beyond
the land of UNIX.
I've calmed down a bit, and am now in the process of going through my
procmail-related shellscripts and making certain that they work in the
IMAP-dimension.
I sort of _enjoyed_ yesterday's troubles, in a sick and twisted sort
of way, even though the cause of the problems was my not knowing, and
not really bothering to check, that my ISP was already running
procmail.
Thank you, again.
