Or u can TELNET your pop.isprovider.com (POP account) at port 110, then use

user <username>
pass <password>
list

then you take the number of the large message and then
dele #Num

to read a message
retr #Num

to quit
quit

does it help?

Well, the point is to del it off the ISP pop server without downloading

have dial-up conection as there is no other way and no ftp server.

Can't you run procmail on the ISP server (requires a shell account at
that
end of course). If so, then use the scripts which Era provided. If not,
then procmail quite simply isn't the tool for your situation.

Just give the ISP the recipe and tell them "put this in place."
We do that for our dialup users all the time, eg, "hi, i want to filter out
xxx.yyy.com" or "i want an autoresponder".
I cant think of why an isp would offer that service, if even for a small
setup fee, unless they were deeply unclued.
