Eric,
If you've changed one of the junkfilter files in some way, you may just
want to download a clean, new, sparkling fresh copy of junkfilter,
rather than messing with your file to try to fix it. I can then help you
with any junkfilter questions that you have.
The junkfilter URL is <http://www.pobox.com/~gsutter/junkfilter/>; there
is a mailing list for junkfilter at <jf-users(_at_)jpunix(_dot_)com>. To
subscribe
to that list, send email to <jf-users-subscribe(_at_)jpunix(_dot_)com>.
For the lurkers, the latest release of junkfilter is 19990331. There are
changes from previous releases, including the addition of a whitelist,
and you will want to reread junkfilter.readme, which has some changes.
Most importantly, you'll want to update the junkfilter action recipe in
your .procmailrc file. Details are found in junkfilter.readme.
how do I see which reule trapped the mail? Thanx a lot - here is the last
Each message, in the default configuration (which I see from your log
that you are using), will contain an "X-Spammer" header that gives the
reason(s) that the mail was caught. You do have a point, though; perhaps
I should add this information to the log as well.
If you have any further questions, feel free to email either myself or
the junkfilter list.
Regards,
Greg
