having sendmail add an X-Recipient header to email, on delivery, that

There's a patch for Sendmail which copies the envelope recipient data
to an X-Envelope-To: header. It's available from
<ftp://ftp.cistron.nl/pub/people/miquels/sendmail/8.9.2-envto+etrnprog.dif>

(I recently added a pointer to this to the FAQ.)
