how do you block email from hotmail with Spam Bouncer?
Create a file containing the names of the domains you want to block,
and set the FREEMAIL variable to point to this file.
FREEMAIL=INTERNAL will apparently block the following domains:
angelfire.com
bigfoot.com
geocities.com
hempseed.com
mailcity.com
rocketmail.com
usa.net
yahoo.com
If you want to receive mail from individual people in the affected
domains, add them to the NOBOUNCE file, which, if it exists, needs to
be named in the NOBOUNCE variable in a similar way.
For example, create the directory $HOME/procmail and create the files
sb-freemail.txt and sb-nobounce.txt in this directory.
sb-freemail.txt should contain the following:
angelfire.com
bigfoot.com
geocities.com
hempseed.com
hotmail.com
mailcity.com
rocketmail.com
usa.net
yahoo.com
sb-nobounce.txt should contain the following:
bogus(_at_)nothing-here-yet(_dot_)no
In your Spam Bouncer configuration, add the following statements
(override any previous settings of these variables, perhaps by
commenting them out so you can see what they were set to by default);
FREEMAIL=$HOME/procmail/sb-freemail.txt
NOBOUNCE=$HOME/procmail/sb-nobounce.txt
Note that you can't use ~ to refer to your home directory when setting
the names of these files.
How do you react to the statement that it took somebody who does not
use Spam Bouncer about five minutes to find the documentation, locate
the appropriate paragraph, and read, interpret, and paraphrase it for
you?
[ ] Amusing
[ ] Depressing
[ ] All of the above
[ ] None of the above
Please check only one box.
BTW, the docs are at <http://www.hrweb.org/spambouncer/>
Hope this helps, and happy new year with Procmail.
