Thanks for all of you guys' help. I now have procmail working. I have
a few questions now that perhaps some of you can answer.
I was told that procmail could be used to delete messages off of the
mail server on my account on my ISP after the messages have become so
many days old. I was wondering how one would go about making a recipe
to do that.
Also... I've been using PINE as my console mail client but i've noticed
one problem with it.: whenever I send out mail to people, it puts as
the binary(_at_)vbe(_dot_)com in the From: line. vbe.com is my ISP, and binary
is
my local login name. It is not, however, my login name for my ISP.
Hence when I send mail using PINE, it gives the wrong return address to
people. Is there a way to specify a different return address w/PINE?
And if not, is there a different *nix console mail client that does and
how do(es) they(it) compare to the ease-of-use of PINE?
Oodles of thanks.
