Using the vacation example from the procmailex man page, messages that
are sent out by procmailare getting bounced back to me due tosome of the
headers having "localhost.localdomain". example of bounced mail
follows. This is on a Redhat 6.1 system with procmail v3.13.1. I'f
added a -I"From: slpalmer(_at_)mail(_dot_)com" to the formail line, but still
get
bounces due to the "Received" line inserted by sendmail having the
"localhost.localdomain" in it.
Could someone please point out what I'm doing wrong?
"formail -r" does not generate addresses, it only extracts them and places
them in different fields. This implies that your mail setup is letting
through or generating address that contain localhost.localdomain. You
need to fix your sendmail config.
