I don't think you need to add a 'f' flag when forwarding a message.
Does your perl script print to STDOUT?
(nod) everything is done via pipes, through stdout.
Without the 'f' flag the script works just as I'd like -- the
processed message is piped to sendmail. Weird things happen, though,
when I add it. A portion of the recipe is included for reference.
