Re: Totalling the numbers from mailstat

DITTO HERE.

procmail v3.13.1 on FreeBSD 4.0

I spent a bit of time debugging the code, it's nice code
but not extremely robust.

I think the problem *might* have something to do with "locale"
settings for perl. Then again, maybe not.

In procmail, it was written:
From: "Edward J. Sabol" <sabol(_at_)alderaan(_dot_)gsfc(_dot_)nasa(_dot_)gov>

Thank you for posting this script to the list. I've been looking
for something similar as well. When I run the script above the only
output I receive is:

-------- ---- -------- ---- -------
     464 100.0 1970.3 100.0

Do you have any idea what I might be doing wrong?

Same thing happened to me.

Here are some possibilities:

Maybe your logfile is corrupted somehow?

Nope.

Do you have "LOGABSTRACT = all" in your .procmailrc file? I think you might
have to have that, but I'm not sure.

Have it already.

Maybe it's not parsing your .procmailrc file correctly. Put in some print
statements and try to debug it. Or specify your logfile on the command line.

Did specify my logfile on the command line.

Do you deliver to directories (MH or Maildir)? If you use MH, then you need
to use the "-mh" switch. This script predates Maildir support, so there might
be a problem with that.

Don't use MH.

Do you have ~/.mh_profile file but don't deliver to MH-style directories? If
so, use the "-nomh" switch.

Not applicable.

procmail 3.11pre7 on a DEC Alpha.
