I want to match on this:
From: ¤¤µØ¹q«H¼Æ¾Ú¤À¤½¥q«ÈªA¤¤¤ß [spam(_at_)ms1(_dot_)hinet(_dot_)net]
Not sure if it will come through the list right or not.
If I cut-and-paste from my pager, it looks like this,
but highlighted:
From:
<A4><A4><B5><D8><B9>q<AB>H<BC><C6><BE><DA><A4><C0><A4><BD><A5>q<AB><C8><AA>A
<A4><A4><A4><DF> <spam(_at_)ms1(_dot_)hinet(_dot_)net>
Finally, if I run it through "cat -v", I get this:
From:
M-$M-$M-5M-XM-9qM-+HM-<M-FM->M-ZM-$M-(_at_)M-$M-=M-%qM-+M-HM-*AM-$M-$M-$M-_
<spam(_at_)ms1(_dot_)hinet(_dot_)net>
It's a Chinese character set, I believe. Elsewhere in the
headers it says:
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="ISO-2022-CN"
But I specifically want to identify the non-Western chars in
the From: line. Suggestions for the best approach would
be appreciated, as ever.
