can't get 'From' field : "This account is currently not available."

Please forgive me if the answer to my problem is posted somewhere I've
missed.

I've installed procmail on one machine and it is working beautifully!

I have tried to install it on another box and it seems to work fine with one
glaring exception. I am trying to set up autoresponders. My .procmailrc
seems to work fine (as well) except for this exception. The other aspects of
the .procmailrc are being carried out as evidenced by the log file

Problem:
I cannot seem to get the "From" field from the incoming email. I have tried
to get it two ways:

1.   FROM_=`formail | expand | sed -e 's/^[ ]*//g' -e 's/[ ]*$//g'`
2.   FROM=`^(From[   ]|(Old-|X-)?(Resent-)?(From|Reply-To|Sender):)(.*\<)?`

Both entries gets me (in my logfile) a response of:
procmail: Assigning "FROM_=This account is currently not available."
or
procmail: Assigning "FROM=This account is currently not available."

My .procmailrc is:
