The trailing asterisks are probably a) not doing what you expect, and
b) unnecessary. As used above they match zero or more "m" or "s"
characters, respectively. You probably meant ".*", which would match
zero or more of any character. If so, it's not needed. If _zero_ or more
is ok, then it's useless to include it in this case, right?
