I'm running a mail server on RedHat 7 and .procmailrc's refuse to run. I've
got
not error messages anywhere. I've confirmed that procmail is (as it appears to
be in the configs) the local delivery agent by renaming the binary and seeing
if mail still got delivered (it didn't). I've searched the archieves and
bugzilla on RedHat's site to no avail. I've tried group permissions, older
versions of procmail with the group writeable dir fix, upgrading to a new beta
of procmail from RedHat. Nothing seems to work and I'm not getting any error
messages in any of the logs--it is simply not executing users .procmailrc
files.
I'm really at a loss, if anyone has any ideas or recommendations I'd greatly
appreciate it. Have I missed something obvious?
RPMs installed
sendmail-8.11.0-8
procmail-3.14-5
As a side note, the only changes I've made to sendmail.cf are to turn off vrfy
and expn; and a few other anti-spam measures. So it is essentially a default
RH
config.
Here is a copy of the .procmailrc I'm trying to execute. It is a redo of a
vacation system I wrote for FreeBSD. I've since verified this version works on
other machines.
