I'll add two points to that:
Even if the binary you're calling IS on both systems, it's path may be
different (sendmail on Linux (/usr/sbin/sendmail) v. Solaris
(/usr/lib/sendmail), for instance) And even if you think everything is in your
$PATH, wait until you change systems... (Ever tried to find a binary that
wasn't in your $PATH, on Irix?)
