I include you on cc: reply to this because from your message, I get the
impression you may not actually be subscribed to the procmail list. If I
am incorrect in this assumption, please indicate as much, so that I don't
continue to cc: you on the replies.

Dear Sir,
This is a mailing list, not an individual.
Recently I have upgrade my sendmail version 8.9.x to 8.12.1,
PROCMAIL != SENDMAIL. Procmail is an LDA (Local Delivery Agent), and
Sendmail is an MTA (Mail Transfer Agent). Sendmail can be configured to
invoke procmail as the default LDA - most Linux distros have this setup by
default, and the sendmail source tree has in its cf subtree several M4
files which you can use to generate such configs. If you need help with
configuring sendmail though, you should check a sendmail forum, such as
<http://www.sendmail.org> or news:comp.mail.sendmail. A search of dejanews
(oops, Google Groups), would result in the necessary config information.
grep your sendmail.cf for procmail, and if you find an mlocal line with
procmail in it, you're probably good to go. Alternatley, you can invoke
procmail from a .forward file -- see the procmail FAQs at
<http://www.procmail.org>, this is basic stuff, as is setting up your base
.procmailrc file.
I want to apply some filters like filter of email body and sender or from etc.
Once you have procmail configured, one could filter on these sorts of
things quite easily. procmail is the tool for this.
Please advice me how can i do this.
Is there any facilites in Mailer programe to do this
No, just the ability to invoke procmail (well, sendmail can reject senders
if you want).
Can I change it Default Mailer mail.local to procmail etc or not.
As per the above, yes, this is the best option.
