Well David, once again you've bailed me right out.  The INCLUDERC
looks like what I was afer. The other things are interesting too.  You
always give a rounded answer... Thanks 

I'm guess that readinging a number of vars in INCLUDERC that do not
really affect procmail will not matter... testing that theory in a few
minutes.

If that holds true then I can just use the same `var_file' for all scripts.
