Hi all,
I hoping someone can help me here. I want to use a Procmail filter to
e-mail. I want to run Procmail on my Postfix Mail gateway, but
everything I'm seeing is for Sendmail, and I'm still new to this. There
is no local delivery enabled on my Postfix relay. I hope someone can
either share some receipie files/scripts or point me to some good clear
how-tos
What it is I want to do:
1) Remove .vbs, exe, com ect. files from the e-mail, but save them a
directory where I can get to them incase they are legit.
2) Virus Scan if Possible using Sophos Sweep files that are allowed in.
3) Send Alerts to the mail administrator?
4) If a file is removed from the e-mail, add a note to the bottom of the
e-mail that the file was removed.
My Config:
Linux Mandrake 8.2
Postfix-20010228-20mdk
Procmail-3.22-3-3mdk
I was trying Anomy and it worked nicely, but it had several problems,
I'm hoping that procmail will work better.
