I have been running procmail (and fetchmail) very successfully under
Cygwin (on NT 4.0 and 2000) for about a year. There have been some
bumps along the way, but I have reached a confidence level where I'm
comfortable contributing them to the standard Cygwin distribution.
Although I have never run Cygwin under XP, I don't see why procmail
would have any problem in this environment. In fact the first Cygwin
procmail port that I found was running under 98:
