procmail cache with string from message body?

2002-06-22 08:26:17
hello all,

if this is misplaced, please forgive me. i am trying
to implement a cache of email names from a particular
string in the body of the message via procmail:

the functionality i'm hoping for is this:
1. dude(_at_)good(_dot_)com writes in to postmaster(_at_)bad(_dot_)com to
complain about user baddude(_at_)bad(_dot_)com and includes
baddude's email address in the body of the message
(the text in the body is in standard format like
abuse_user: baddude(_at_)bad(_dot_)com).
2. i get baddude(_at_)bad(_dot_)com's address from the body and
check it against a list of folks who have already been
reported. if they have been reported already, i send
autoresponder back to dude(_at_)good(_dot_)com and tell him that
user has already been reported and i'm looking into
any abuse.
3. if baddude(_at_)bad(_dot_)com hasn't been reported, i just
forward it to a file that i look at.

i can do the standard vacation.cache via formail, but
i don't know how to implement (tried and failed)
looking in the body and applying the functionality
mentioned.

any help is SINCERELY appreciated!!!
Thanks.
