hey max, could you re-arrange the columns. as they are now, they
are quite hard on the eyes. below is comparison (ignoring end white
space)...
procmail mailstat[0]...
Total Number Folder
----- ------ ------
4347 1 /dev/null
16430 2 In.freebsd/i.f-ports
10957 3 In.freebsd/i.f-questions
3579 1 In/i.fvwm
9800 2 In/i.minolta
5998 1 In/i.procmail
----- ------
51111 10
[0] i have added a grep at the end of procmail mailstat to
remove lines matching '^\s+##' pattern (even before
seeing the output below).
mjw mailstat...
Folder Number Size
------ -- ------
In.freebsd/i.f-questions 3 10.70k
In/i.minolta 2 9.57k
In.freebsd/i.f-ports 2 16.04k
In/i.fvwm 1 3.50k
In/i.procmail 1 5.86k
/dev/null 1 4.25k
------ -- ------
Total: 10 49.91k
...mjw mailstat's "Folder" column is too staggered to read; not to
mention folder names cross in the "Number" column's boundary. you
could present stats like procmail's does. otherwise, at least right
align the folder names.
other thing, if you convert procmail mailstat's size to kB (divide
by 100), dc shows smaller numbers, w/ 2 decimal point precision,
than yours. otoh, converting the 51111 yields 49.91k.
