This has nothing to do with procmail. It is a postfix issue.
What makes you think that ?
postfix accepts the message, spools it through a virus scanner, and
accepts it back without problem.
The only error message comes when procmail writes it to the maildir.
Only because of your previous message implying that procmail was
inserting or reacting to some kind of size limit. Procmail has
none. Postfix, otoh, has various default limits in its setup.
For instance, mail spools are capped at 50MB by default until
you change something.
I'd prefer to keep discussion on the list, so that if I'm wrong
(or not) others can have a chance to contribute ideas and
solutions.

Yes, of course, my bad. I replyed without checking, a bit stressed out,
server going live tomorrow ..
I initially suspected postfix, but procmail logs the error. I first
thought it was maildir related, but it's not.
I tested with mbox too.
This is the procmail log and rc file, disabled virus and spam, checking.
