Please forgive me it this is covered in a FAQ.
I have an auto responder that I thought had a rule not to respond to
itself. Well it doesn't seem to be working. If I send an email to
myself, I get an autoresponse.
The responder does not respond to itself, but it does respond to emails
where the sender and the recipient are the same.
Here is what I have so far in my procmailrc file

* !^FROM_DAEMON
* !^X-Loop: sales(_at_)obsidian-studios(_dot_)com
* ^TOsales
| (formail -rI"From: sales(_at_)obsidian-studios(_dot_)com" -A"X-Loop: \
sales(_at_)obsidian-studios(_dot_)com" ; cat .vacation.msg) | $SENDMAIL -oi -t
