procmail, postfix and transport (wrong list?)

2003-06-18 10:21:21

Hi all,...

...don't know whether this is more related to postfix than to
procmail so sorry in case I hit the wrong list with this: Actually,
running a postfix/cyrus - based mail host, I felt happy using
cyrus-sieve for mail filtering now for quite some time. Anyhow,
having to extend filtering capabilities for certain mail users on
our system, I would like to make sieve and procmail co-exist nicely.
So the idea:

* basically, mail is locally delivered by postfix to cyrus using
lmtp for most of the user, thus runs through sieve and then into a
cyrus mailbox.

* for one user / mail account, I want to make the mail run through
procmail, so I am thinking about setting up an entry in the postfix
transport map, like

filein(_at_)foo local:procmail

with having a working procmail entry set up in the postfix
master.cf.

Is anyone out there using a setup like this? Would it be possible to
do something this way?

TIA, have a nice evening,...
Kris
