Why the problem is strange? Because if I use the same procmailrc
from the command line, it works perfectly!
Are you setting DEFAULT in the rcfile? If not the extraneous copy could
just be bouncing, since ORGMAIL, the default setting for DEFAULT, is
unset when working from the command line:
| ORGMAIL /var/mail/$LOGNAME
| (Unless -m has been specified, in which case it is unset)
