So I'm trying to strip off the body of the message before forwarding to
hotmail.
I'm doing this because I'm only using the alerts feature at hotmail in
order to SMS
my cell when "significant" new email arrives.

In this case won't the ! only see the filtered message and not the
message prior to filtering?
