Toen ik Craig Clark kietelde, kwam er dit uit:
I've changed the logfile to be /usr/log/procmaillog
Not all users may have the proper rights there,
and procmail checks that. Better try
LOGFILE = "$HOME/pm.log"
first, since that file is in the user's home-directory.
Added a USER definition. And added the verbose log.
Unfortunatly mail is still going straight to mail dir nothing is being
logged in the procmail log file.
Maybe you need a .forward per user? Not on all systems
is procmail the default LDA.
My .forward contains
|/usr/local/bin/procmail
Also run the "diagnostic script", find a link on
http://www.professional.org/procmail/disclaimer.html
because it explains a lot.
And read there about the sandbox-approach:
http://www.professional.org/procmail/sandbox.html
If you run procmail interactively and don't define a LOGFILE,
then all logoutput will be on stderr and that is your screen.
