Can anyone help me with getting an autoreply to work with Procmail, Postfix &
RedHat 8.
I have the mailbox_command = /usr/bin/procmail in my Postfix main.cf.
I have only one .procmailrc file in one users home directory at the moment and
the file permissions are set to 640.
Postfix seems to be calling Procmail because before I changed the file
permissions of the .procmailrc file the mail log was showing:
Mar 1 21:08:37 myhost procmail[3569]: Suspicious rcfile "/home/me/.procmailrc"
It now shows:
Mar 5 07:00:01 myhost postfix/local[1405]: EE6A019DC5:
to=<me(_at_)mydomain(_dot_)com>, relay=local, delay=1, status=sent
("|/usr/bin/procmail")
The .procmailrc file only contains the following recipe but it doesn't seem to
be doing anything:
:0 hc
* !^FROM_DAEMON
* !^X-Loop: me(_at_)mydomain(_dot_)com
| (formail -r -I"Precedence: junk" \
-A"X-Loop: me(_at_)mydomain(_dot_)com " ; \
echo "Mail received - I'm away.")
| $SENDMAIL -t
Any ideas anyone ?
Thanks
Paul
