Re: mail permissions when delivering in /etc/procmailrc

2004-06-25 09:25:24
Toen wij Louis-David Mitterrand kietelden, kwam er dit uit:

  DROPPRIVS = yes
  MAILDIR = $HOME/mail

  :0
  *$  ^TO_$LOGNAME[(_dot_)(_at_)]
  {
    :0
    *$! ^To:.*\<$LOGNAME[(_dot_)(_at_)]
    .CC/

    :0
    $DEFAULT
  }
  :0E
  .BCC/

Thanks, this is a better solution than my own recipe.
I am going to shamelessly adopt it.

You're welcome. There are still 'problems ahead' because
any john@ or john. address in the To: will deliver to john's
default mailbox, even if his full address was not in the To:
Add domains to fight that.

Maybe a .LIST/ mailbox is useful? There are nice recipes in the
archives that classify mail as mailing-list-mail.

You could also give the boxes a prefix of .IN,
like .IN, .IN-Cc, .IN-Bcc, .IN-List, etc.
