Re: Procmail Forward

2005-03-22 10:23:10
I'm thinking that maybe implementing a perl script to
pipe the mail to might be the best way.

I'm trying to write a script to send just the raw mail
data directly to the SMTP server without any special
formatting (since it is already formatted)

I've written a script to send the mail with Net::SMTP
but it wants to reformat and cut the mail up and it
isn't the complete message when received on the 2nd
server.

Anyone have any ideas on how to do this?

Yes I do wish to do it on a domain basis. Specifying
one email address do to the forward won't work. I
know
how to do it with sendmail, but like you said it
bypasses procmail and defeats the purpose.

use the domaintable (sendmail) or tranports
(postfix) to accomplish the
task. That solution however, bypasses procmail
altogether.

What would the procmail filter be to forward

Probably just what it says in the man pages:

:0
* conditions
! forward(_at_)somewhere(_dot_)else

Did you try it?
