Extra "." At End of E-mail after procmail recipe

Hi,

I'm working with a procmail recipe that occasionally drops an extra "." 
at the very end of received e-mail.  I'm stumped because it's erratic.

Here's a copy of my .procmailrc:

VERBOSE=on
MAILDIR=/home/vpopmail/domains/pacificscreening.com/robert/Maildir
LOGFILE=/home/vpopmail/domains/pacificscreening.com/robert/procmail.log
DEFAULT=new
:0
*^From: Pacific Screening Fax Server 
<fax(_at_)io(_dot_)pacificscreening(_dot_)com>
*^Subject: .* .* .* .* .* completed
/dev/null

and my .qmail:

| preline procmail -m -p ./.procmailrc
=======

Any tips would be most welcome.
