Identifying and removing delivered spam from a mailspool

Is there anyway to use procmail to identify and remove delivered mail
from a mailspool? I ran the following command:

formail -s procmail spam-test.rc <mailspool

That command identifies mail marked as spam and processes it. Is there
anyway to have the mail removed from the spool as its identified?
