ER with brackets don't works

Hello,

I want to destroy the viagra messages. I made  this rule:

* ^Subject.*V[a-z]?I[a-z]?A[a-z]?G[a-z]?R[a-z]?A
/dev/null

However, this rule don't works. The procmail log reports:

 From xyz(_at_)gmail(_dot_)com  Tue Aug  1 10:54:26 2006
  Subject: Fwd: biuywVIAjAGRA
   Folder: /var/mail/fulano

What's the error?
