EX_TEMPFAIL on mounted RAID only

Hello

I recently took over the administive work on
our mail server. When the server needed upgrading
(yum on sendmail and procmail). The server will
forward mail correctly to the user's file on the
local drive, but when mounted to the RAID it 
returns the message in the logs EX_TEMPFAIL.
Any idea for a newbie?
