Hello,
of performance reasons I have now splited my Intraner Server in two:
1) NFS Athlon XP 3000+, 3 GByte, ICP/Vortexm Raid-5,
3x 9 GByte, 8x 147 GByte
2) Courier Sempron 2200+, 3 GByte, 3Ware 3y8500-4LP,
4x Western Digital Raptor WD1500 (150 GByte)
OK, normaly the $USER do mailfiltering on the Fileserver but now it
should be done on the Mailserver where $USER have no pysicaly access.
If they want to use selfmade scripts, I will test and install them
manualy since $USER will have NO access to it and get /bin/false
as shell.
Does anyone have an idea how to manage the procmailfilter over two
servers?
Unfortunatly there is not only a ~/.procmailrc OR ~/.procmail/ because
we use heavily INCLUDERC's for all kind of stuff.
rsync was not the hit since we have heavy shellscript and updating or
removing an INCLUDERC can damage the system (at least the $USER space)
Also the ~/.procmailrc can not be locked so fetchmail or courier-mta
deliveries will delayed.
Any suggestions welcome.
Thanks, Greetings and nice Day
