UMASK does wrong thing

2008-05-27 07:13:42
Hello,

since I have the need for "shared folders" in courier-imap, I have set
my ~/procmailrc "UMASK=002" which should create IMAP folders of 775 and
files with 664. Unfortunately it does not.

While the directories have the MODE 755, the created files are always
665.

So the "x" bit from the directory "g" is moved to the files "o"!

How can this be? It seems like a bug to me...

Thanks, Greetings and nice Day
