This just means that your procmailrc has set VERBOSE=yes before
assigning a value to LOGFILE. Consequently the log about the
assignment of LOGFILE goes to stderr.
Move the VERBOSE assignment to below the LOGFILE assignment and this
(harmless, spurious) error from getmail should go away.
(The contents of the log file are irrelevant in this particular
instance, as they all happen after the [not-really-an-]error has
already occurred.)
