Some things that could be improved on spfd:
- install spfd when 'make install'
on Solaris with Perl 5.8.0 make install does not install spfd:
[axil Mail-SPF-Query-1.7]# make install
Writing
/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/sun4-solaris-thread-multi/auto/Mail/SPF/Query/.packlist
Appending installation info to
/usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.0/sun4-solaris-thread-multi/perllocal.pod
[axil Mail-SPF-Query-1.7]# which spfd
no spfd in /usr/sbin /usr/bin /usr/dt/bin /usr/openwin/bin /bin
/usr/local/bin /opt/sfw/bin /usr/ccs/bin /usr/ucb /opt/SUNWppro/bin
/usr/sadm/bin
on Linux RedHat with Perl 5.6.0 make install INSTALLS spfd:
[rackuk Mail-SPF-Query-1.7]# make install
Installing /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.0/Mail/SPF/Query.pm
Installing /usr/share/man/man1/spfquery.1
Installing /usr/share/man/man3/Mail::SPF::Query.3pm
Installing /usr/bin/spfd
Writing
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.0/i386-linux/auto/Mail/SPF/Query/.packlist
Appending installation info to
/usr/lib/perl5/5.6.0/i386-linux/perllocal.pod
[rackuk Mail-SPF-Query-1.7]# which spfd
