Welp, someone submitted another story to slashdot about SPF. See:

In somewhat related news, the /. discussion migrated to NANAE. See
the subject of "Sender Permitted From (SPF) anti-spam technology".
Google gives a friendly, but much delayed access to newsgroups, so if
you don't have a direct nntp feed, you can use the following URL

Vernon Schryver weighs in with his opinion that SPF is snake-oil.
This is a view that he has held for quite a while now and he makes
some valid points. For those who don't recognize Vernon, he is the
creator of the Distributed Checksum Clearinghouse (DCC) bulk email
detection system. He is a cantankerous curmudgeon with an oversized
ego. However, is also very frequently right and technically very
sharp. He knows his stuff in the area of spam and email. I recommend
those who have thin skins to skip over his posts.
