The SPF project needs a testing coordinator; your duties
will include:
- improving the standard test suite to a state where it can
be easily run against a majority of MTAs both proprietary
and opensource,
- identifying all the MTAs who have added SPF support in the
last year,
- contacting them,
- and working with them to confirm compliance with the standard
test suite.
This unpaid position will require an estimated 10 hours per
week.
I can start you off with a list of MTA vendors who have
added support; it will be up to you to work with them on the
other points.
This is a particularly urgent need because we are seeing
reports from the field of legitimate "PASS" mail being
rejected by noncompliant implementations.
