But Hotmail is different. They say "EHLO hotmail.com". So there must be a
way for Hotmail to publish which MTA's (which IP addresses) are allowed to
say "EHLO hotmail.com". That is Hotmail's policy, so it is the sender's
policy (SPF)
no, beacuse EHLO hotmail.com does not imply that the sender's domain
is hotmail.com, the EHLO is just the credential of the sending mta not
of the sender. The helo checks made by spf is just a way to solve a
situation where spf does not know the sender not a real sender check.
